Start-Up Mela

BBA BBA-CA Department organized “Diwali Mela” and startup Mela from A.Y 2022-23 under entrepreneurship exhibition and sale.

The mela is always a new experience for our students. It gives practical education and experience to all the students on the basis of theoretical knowledge. Through this exhibition, students can learn to find target customers for the product, develop marketing skills, and learn how to declare the selling price of the product and decide the margin level.

The main motto of the activity is to develop Entrepreneurship which is the program outcome.

Ek Vahi Shalet Jaai

The department organized “EK VAHI SHALET JAAI” program from 2017 to celebrate birthdays to cultivate the joy of giving value as well as incorporate the feeling among students that we are part of society. Humans are wired to serve mankind; we automatically feel good when we hear a story about someone who sacrificed for others. This desire to do something for others is deeply ingrained in us. When we participate in activities related to important social issues, we feel useful because we are able to contribute something to the betterment of the world. This helps us to build up positive self-esteem in students and staff as an important part of personality development.

Strengths:

  • Healthy Teacher student interaction for their overall development.
  • Qualified, Motivated, and Competent faculty with young and energetic dynamism.
  • Professional education provided and empowerment done for rural & tribal areas students.
  • Students have good opportunity of progression to MBA in the College run by mother institution.

Weakness:

  • Poor Communication skill among students.
  • Limited scope to introduce various add-on courses due to student’s financial constraints.
  • Most of the students coming from rural, tribal and economically poor background - Less exposure to the current business scenario.
  • Students require some time to adapt to urban environment.

Opportunities:

  • More scope to use various ICT tools in teaching learning process.
  • Communication and soft skill development programs for students.
  • To provide various certificate courses for students.
  • To provide more training for students to become more employable.
  • Better chance of getting employment as Nashik is one of the rising cities that attracts new businesses.

Challenges:

  • Majority of students are from rural background who face problems such as communication and adjustment with urban environment.
  • Lower adaptability to English language.
  • To inculcate skills in the student to make them employable.

Future Plan:

  • To conduct syllabus oriented programs.
  • To give various project work to develop skill.
  • To make the student competitive in the changing business scenario.
